The Science
Anchor is built around one question: what actually reduces bloat without leaning on a stimulant laxative to force the issue? Here’s what’s in the formula, why it’s there, and why we left some popular ingredients out.

The problem with detox teas
Most “detox” and cleanse products on the market work by triggering your bowel with a stimulant laxative — typically senna leaf or cascara sagrada. It’s why they feel fast-acting. It’s also why they can cause cramping, dependency with regular use, and a crash the next day. Anchor doesn’t use either one. Every ingredient below works with your digestion, not against it.
The formula
Full serving is 2 capsules. Every ingredient below is dosed at levels commonly referenced in commercial formulations for its category — not padded out to make the label look longer.
The pathway
Bromelain and papain start breaking down the proteins that contribute to post-meal bloating soon after you eat. Dandelion root works in the background throughout the day to ease water retention, while DGL licorice and slippery elm soothe the gut lining as it processes everything. Ginger and fennel keep digestion moving gently the whole time — no stimulant laxative forcing the issue, just eight ingredients doing their individual jobs at once, all day.
An enzyme derived from pineapple stems that helps break down protein, easing the digestive load that contributes to post-meal bloating.
A traditional mild diuretic that helps ease water retention — one of the biggest contributors to that “puffy” feeling that isn’t really about fat.
Deglycyrrhizinated licorice (the “DGL” matters — it’s licorice with the compound linked to blood pressure issues removed) is used traditionally to soothe the gut lining.
A classic digestive aid that supports motility and helps calm an unsettled stomach after eating.
A mucilage-rich herb that coats and soothes the digestive tract, traditionally used for gut lining comfort.
A second protein-digesting enzyme (from papaya) that works alongside bromelain to reduce the bloat that comes from incomplete protein breakdown.
Used for centuries after meals to ease gas and support smoother digestion.
Included at a small dose specifically to improve the absorption of the other ingredients in the formula.
We considered a powder format early on since it allows for higher fiber doses. We ultimately chose capsules for convenience and consistency — but that meant being deliberate about which ingredients earned a spot in a 2-capsule serving. Every ingredient above is dosed at levels commonly referenced in commercial formulations for its category, not padded out with filler to make the label look longer.
